Who is IST Educational Tours?
IST Educational Tours is a division of International Student Tours, Inc. (“IS Tours”). IS Tours is a nationally recognized tour operator and travel company. Since 1976 we have specialized in student travel to some of the World’s most popular destinations. We have been in business for over 40 years and over 500,000 young adults have traveled with us.

What type of transportation is used?
We use high-quality brand name air and ground carriers with SPAB certified buses and drivers.
Can parents go on a trip?
This is up to the discretion of the school.
Are meals included?
Yes! On an IST Educational Tour trip, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included unless other arrangements have been made by your school. Breakfast will always be served at the hotel. Lunches are typically on-the-go. Dinners will either be at a popular sit-down restaurants including Bubba Gump’s or Hard Rock Café. All meals are complete and include gratuity.
What type of hotels are used?
We use nationally recognized chains for all campus tours. Hotel chains include Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, and Courtyard by Marriott.
How many people per room?
The prices quoted for our trips are based on quad occupancy (4 people per room.) If there are less than 4 travelers in a room, an additional occupancy fee will apply. The school chaperones will complete the rooming list. Rooms have two double beds. Due to fire codes, rollaway beds are not permitted.
Financial Protection
As a California Corporation, we are required by state law to register with the Attorney General as a Seller of Travel. All funds we collect on your behalf must be placed in a Trust Account and can only be used for your travel related trip components – air, hotel, bus, etc. Additionally, we are proud members of ASTA – American Society of Travel Agents, NTA – National Tour Association, ARC – Airline Reporting Corporation, BBB – Better Business Bureau, and the World Youth Student & Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation.
